GMail Removes “class”, “id” and Styles from HTML EMail

http://templates.mailchimp.com/resources/inline-css/

GMail browser EMail client removes HTML class and id attributes and also style tag from HTML emails. GMail does this so that your HTML email styles don’t mess up with GMail’s interface.

Therefore the solution to keep make the style inline to the HTML elements. Obviously its time consuming to write all the style inline to the HTML elements therefore you can use Mailchimp’s CSS Inliner tool which does this task on behave of you.
